Mrs. Pauline Myra Schild, 915 South Tenth [Quincy, IL], died Monday night [28 November 1949] at Blessing hospital, where she had been a patient since Nov. 26.
Mrs. Schild was born in Melrose township March 24, 1901, a daughter of Charles and Dora Hufendick. Her marriage to John William Schild took place on Oct. 27, 1923. Mrs. Schild was a member of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church and also a member of the De Molay Mother’s circle and American Legion auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Eugene C. Schild, Robert W. Schild, and Paul A. Schild; a daughter, Mrs. Parke T. Piper, and granddaughter, Barbara Sue Piper, all of Quincy; her father and a brother, James C. Hufendick, both of Ellington, and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Drebes of Route 4, Quincy. Her mother died Jan. 8, 1925.
