Anthony J. Vigliotti passed away on January 29, 2010 at Schnurmacher Nursing Home in White Plains. He was 87 years old. Anthony was born on April 30, 1922 in Eastchester to the late Vincent and Vincenza Guido Vigliotti. Mr. Vigliotti was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. Anthony retired from the Eastchester Department of Publics Works after thirty-seven years. He married his late wife Carmella Del Vecchio on October 5, 1947. Carmella passed away on April 11, 2000. Anthony was an avid sports fan. Mr. Vigliotti was a founding member of the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corp, a member of the Sam Di Rienzo Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion both in Eastchester. He was also a Deputy Chief of the Eastchester Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Vigliotti is survived by his two daughters Anita Jane Gryniak and Christine Vigliotti Kellaher and a son Vincent (Vinny) Vigliotti and his wife Virginia. He is the grandfather of Matthew Vigliotti, Leanne Mascoli, James Robert Kellaher and Vincent Anthony Vigliotti. Also surviving are his sisters Angelina Zaino, Virginia Waddell, Louise and Sylvia Vigliotti, his brothers Andrew and Alphonse Vigliotti and the late Madeline Woodruff and Vincent Vigliotti. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10AM Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Scarsdale. Interment Holy Mount Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
